Post Majority Program

We have a post majority team ready to assist and support youth who were formally in care, under EFP, and YAG agreements. If you are a youth ages 19-27 years of age and normally reside on reserve you may qualify for supports and services. We have trained staff available to answer your questions regarding services that can assist youth financially, educationally, living skills, cultural supports and access to land based Indigenous holistic counsellors. We also have elders who provide support and guidance within our programming. Our genealogy worker can also provide valuable information about your house group, Wilp and cultural duties within our Gitxsan Nation.

Services Include:

• Assistance with shelter

• Assistance with basic living costs

• Assistance with dental/optometry

• Assistance with accessing counselling

• Land based and Cultural supports
